The client is a global employer branding and recruitment marketing agency. They help organizations emotionally and honestly connect with both job seekers and employees, in turn driving tangible business results.
The Challenge
The client had a good backlink profile but their website’s content was not optimized for technical SEO. Although the company offered several services, there was only one service page on the website. This service page contained all the services the client offered. In case you don’t know, in SEO, the best practice is to create one page for each service offered.
In terms of technical SEO, the website’s user experience (or Core Web Vitals) score was low because the back end of the website had a lot of duplicate plugins.
The Objective

The Solution
Our team audited the client’s website and found the following key issues:
♦ Unused plugins were slowing down site speed.
♦ Resource-heavy images needed compressing.
♦ Hundreds of Orphan Pages (pages not connected to the main website).
♦ Dozens of Status 404 errors that indicated that the webpages we were trying to reach couldn’t be found.
♦ Unoptimized meta tags, content, and descriptions.
To resolve these issues, our development team removed all unused plugins and updated the existing ones. They also compressed all images to increase site speed.
The SEO team conducted the following activities:
♦ Redirected orphan pages (or pages that were not linked to the site) to relevant pages. Valuable or high-priority business pages were added to the website navigation.
♦ Redirect each page with a 404 error to another relevant page.
♦ Provided the client with keyword recommendations for existing and new pages.
♦ Optimized meta tags, content and descriptions.
Results
The end result was that, in the following month, the client saw a 118% increase in conversion rate (or contact form submissions) and a
297% increase in organic traffic.
